Research and planning: Individual ideas

Film Idea:
Two girls, Jenna and Marie, go to a festival on the Isle of wight. They were expecting a weekend of laughter and fantastic memories, however this is not what they received. On arrival they meet a group of normal people who are eager to socialise and share the weekend with them. Innocent behavior for a festival as everyone knows. As the weekend goes on Jenna and Marie begin to notice strange characteristics about the group, however intoxicated most of the time, it's hard to tell whether it's only in their mind. Sooner than later it starts to get clear that the group had an underlying plan from the start, and that is to sacrifice Jenna and Marie. The two girls end up spending the weekend fighting for their life, but when your drugged and disorientated a variety of obstacles can get in your way, whether they be real or not.

Setting details:
The festival they are at is a big arts festival celebrating music in a wacky way. Involving statues of imaginative figures and imaginative worlds within forests and big tents. Every thing is very community orientated and has a spiritual vibe about it.

Proposed Audience:
I am aiming this film at teens and yuppies. The main reason for this is because people of this age make up the majority seen at music festivals. Also this age range often have spare time to go to/ are interested in the cinema. Because the film will contain a common interest (festivals) it will intrigue and relate to the target audience, and therefore make them want to watch the film.
